This Níðhöggr Bracelet was made by hand sawing and piercing the dragon from a copper sheet. It was then soldered onto a solid 1.7 x 1.1-inch back plate. Patina was added for contrast.
The Vikings had lots of stories of dragons and giant serpents and left many depictions of these creatures in their art. Dragons are as rich in symbolism as they were said to be rich in treasure.
