This gorgeous cabochon reminded me of a shield. The 37mm x 27mm gemstone has been bezel set in sterling silver on a copper back plate. The 2.08 inch x 1.44 inch pendant has texture and patina added. Comes on an 18 inch faux leather cord.
Schalenblende forms in concentric masses that form swirls and bands of silver (Galena), Brown (Sphalerite) and Tan which is Wurtzite.
